<p><strong><font color="#0000ff">November 20, 2012</font></strong>: It's official.  David Cameron, the British Prime Minister, announced on a visit to a factory in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, that Enniskillen will host the G8 summit in June 2013.  Speculation started last week, when a leading journalist from a local paper, the <em>Impartial Reporter</em>, pieced clues together and broke the story.  The location was made official earlier today.</p><p>The luxury resort is located on a peninsula on Lough Erne.  The complex is isolated on 600 acres of rolling hills and will offer a secluded location for world leaders to meet.  The G8 is a forum for the heads of government of the world's eight largest economies to meet.  Leaders of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Russia will attend.  The Council President and Commission President of the EU also participate in the event; as Ireland will hold the Presidency of the EU during the Summit, an Taoiseach will also attend the meeting.  China and Brazil, whose economies have grown at spectacular rates in the past decade, are now ranked in the top eight global economies;
